It’s been too long.
Not that I really have anything of merit to say about it all, but I just thought that it’s been too long since I said something about comics.
And there’s been a lot going on in comics, especially stuff that has gotten my attention and reawakened the desire to comment on what’s been going on. So that’s what I plan to do.
Actually, all of this is simply a mechanism that I use to deal with the neverending stress of nursing school. It all ends in May. I can’t WAIT for my wife to back in control of my life, which is the natural order of things for my life, and not these other strange women I have to call nursing instructors! The devil I know, ya know…
God, I hope my wife doesn’t see that.
Anyway…
How bad is it when a heckler gets owned? Just ask this guy as Kevin Smith completely rocks his world at Comic-Con 2007.
Is it just me or has DC ran out of ideas? I mean, how many different Countdown series are they planning to publish between now and the end of 2008? When will the madness end?!
And while it’s sad for some to hear, I didn’t shed a tear at the death of Fangoria Comics. For my dollar, Avatar, Dark Horse, and Image are the places I go to for horror. What about you?

Fangoria Comics? Hmm… so popular that I don’t even remember seeing them. I think for early horror it was Dark Horse and as you mentioned, later its been a toss up between Image and Avatar. I think Avatar goes that extra CGI gross mile than Image. Then again I do not read Walking Dead so maybe I am wrong.

Robert,
Can’t believe you don’t read The Walking Dead, man. It’s probably the only book that Kirkman does well. I say get in trades if you check it out.
And Avatar definitely does horror to a deeper degree than Image does, without a doubt.
